Everyone is doing the #MannequinChallenge nowadays -- including the residents of one Alabama prison.

Cal Lilcal Jackson posted a video to Facebook Nov. 13 of inmates at an Alabama prison performing the challenge.

That usually entails people standing perfectly still doing various activities while the camera operator pans around them. In this particular one, the inmates mimicked the activities of their daily lives: praying, working out, fighting and reading. One even bothers to point a middle finger in the air.

The video was captioned, "Free us.....prison reform. .....#ALLlivesMATTER #GodLovesAll #ChaingangChallange Free My Family!!!! #share help this go viral."

It's unclear why the performers wanted to publish this specific video to Facebook or who exactly took the footage. Perhaps they wanted to give viewers a brief glimpse of their lives, or maybe they just wanted to participate in a viral craze. Either way, it gives people a brief glimpse into Alabama prison life.

Possessing a cell phone in such a prison is considered a Class C felony. During a series of riots earlier this year at Holman prison in Atmore, Alabama, inmates made a video call to the media. Their goal was to show journalists the prison's overcrowding and poor living conditions.

The video features more than 40 inmates, and has been viewed over 200,000 times.

The Alabama Department of Corrections has seized over 3,000 illegal cellphones in the past year. They are currently investigating the source of the video.
