Alabama heads to the polls Tuesday, and the Senate race between Democrat Doug Jones and beleaguered Republican candidate Roy Moore is exceptionally tight with just hours to go.

No Democrat has won an election for Senate (or even governor) in Alabama in nearly two decades, but the litany of allegations of sexual misconduct against Roy Moore have helped push Jones to a ten point lead, if Fox News' latest poll is to be believed. Other pundits believe the race is too close to call.

There's a lot at stake and the country is watching -- and numerous public figures came out in a last ditch attempt to thwart Moore on Monday night.

Elle DeGeneres was perhaps one of the most well-known; she reiterated that Tuesday is a "big day" and urged all voters to head out and reject Roy.

Her voice was joined by actresses Uzo Aduba -- who reportedly told crowds in Birmingham that "there is only one choice in this election" -- and Uma Thurman.

"Women of the state of Alabama just say 'no Moore'," Thurman begged in an Instagram post late Monday.

The latest crop of high profile voices join the likes of Mark Ruffalo, Patton Oswalt, Alyssa Milano, and Connie Britton, who have all tweeted or recorded messages in support of Jones in recent days.

Moore denies pursuing women who were in their teens, despite at least six women sharing their stories. A win for Jones would reduce the Republican majority in the Senate to one.
