Alexander Hamilton won't get screwed on the $10, Treasury promises
The scope of Lin-Manuel Miranda's power remains vast.
The creator of "Hamilton," the musical that has swept Broadway, said on Thursday that he had spoken with treasury secretary Jack Lew about Alexander Hamilton's place on the $10 bill.

Back in June 2015, Lew had said Hamilton was in line to be replaced on the bill by a woman, although the exact person had not been chosen.
Fast forward to Thursday, when Miranda says he talked to Lew about keeping Hamilton's spot.

That's not necessarily an official proclamation, but we doubt that Lew would dare cross Miranda, lest he end up the subject of a barb in a future play.
Miranda has been in Washington D.C. with the rest of the cast of "Hamilton," which put on a special performance at the White House.
