Yay, dragons!

LONDON — In the desperate scavenge for crumbs of information about Game of Thrones Season 7, any line — no matter how brief or throwaway — will do.

During a recent appearance at Malta India Fan Con 2016, actor Alfie Allen (a.k.a. everyone's favourite slowly-redeeming-himself Ironborn, Theon Greyjoy) took questions from Thrones fans.

To be honest, he remained pretty tight-lipped. Despite the audience sneaking in questions about a potential Jon Snow/Daenerys alliance and asking about how the Greyjoys and Daenerys might get on in the next Season, Allen wasn't giving too much away.

He did let a couple of tantalising crumbs slip out, though.

"More torture... more dragons," was Allen's response, for instance, when he was asked what fans can expect from the coming season. "You want dragons, right? Yeah, loads of dragons." (He was half joking, but we reckon he was serious about the dragons being a focus — Daenerys' invasion will have to involve a bit of dragon-based combat. Judging by the way Cersei's going ,there probably will be more torture, too.)

He also responded to one question about how Theon might react if he's reunited with Jon Snow.

"I would say he would feel horrible," Allen replied. "He'd feel awful... and he'd see it as a chance to redeem himself."

Obviously he's already rescued Sansa, but Theon is still pretty firmly in the Starks debt (remember that whole betraying them and taking over Winterfell thing?); it's possible — in my opinion, anyway — that this might be the season where he redeems himself fully by saving the life of a key Stark.

If pushed I'd say this'll also be the season he dies, though.

Here's the Q & A in full.
