Alison Brie to star in Jenji Kohan's new Netflix comedy series
LOS ANGELES -- Alison Brie is headed to Netflix.
The Community and Mad Men alum has been tapped to star in a new Jenji Kohan comedy series G.L.O.W.
The 10-episode show, set in Los Angeles, is inspired by the real story of the 1980's female wrestling league.

Brie, who recently starred in How to Be Single, will play Ruth, "a struggling actress whose dreams of fame take a surprising turn when she's thrust into the glitter and spandex world of women's wrestling," according to Netflix's release.
Kohan and Tara Herrmann, both behind Netflix's hit Orange is the New Black, serve as executive producers.
The show was co-created by Liz Flahive (Homeland) and Carly Mensch (Orange is the New Black), who serve as showrunners.
