Amazon's Black Friday TV deals feature several cheap QLED and Mini LED TVs
UPDATE: Nov. 17, 2023, 11:00 a.m. EST This post has been updated with the best TV deals from Amazon's official Black Friday event, which kicked off on Nov. 17.
With Prime being the exclusive spot to watch Thursday Night Football, approximately no one expects Amazon to sit out the Black Friday TV deal competition.
But while retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Samsung have been going hard on TV deals for the entire month of November, Amazon was waiting in the wings — until Nov. 17, that is, when the retailer finally cut the virtual ribbon to its official Black Friday sale.
Depending on the kind of TV you're eyeing, Amazon's TV offerings might just appeal to you over the massive lists of premium TVs on sale at Best Buy or Samsung. If you're a casual TV enjoyer who cares more about staying within a certain budget than an elevated cinematic or gaming experience, you'll definitely want to scroll down to peep deals like a 55-inch QLED Fire TV from TCL for less than $350 or a 75-inch 4K Fire TV from Toshiba for less than $500.
We're tracking the best TV deals at Amazon ahead of Black Friday below:
Note: All newly added deals are marked with a ✨, while deals with a 🔥 have dropped to an all-time low price.
Why we like it
Amazon's own 4-Series and Omni Fire TVs haven't really gotten the early Black Friday treatment (yet), so your best bet for scoring a cheap Fire TV now is an Insignia or Toshiba model. We're partial to this 75-inch one from Toshiba that's back to its October Prime Day pricing. For the price, the C350 Series has decent viewing angles and supports Dolby Vision, and has the beloved responsive Fire TV platform built-in for hopping between your favorite apps.

Frequently Asked Questions
Amazon is a good place to shop for a TV on sale if you're looking for a budget-friendly, mid-sized TV, and are partial to the simplicity of the Fire TV platform. However, Amazon focuses less on deals on premium QLED or OLED TV from brands like Samsung, LG, or Sony, so a retailer like Best Buy or Samsung's website would have a better variety of those options.
In general, Amazon Fire TVs are a good choice for casual viewers who are more pressed on a low price than they are on things like brightness, black levels, or response rate.
That said, there are several different versions of Fire TVs that are better for certain streaming or gaming situations than others. Toshiba and Insignia Fire TVs as well as Amazon's own 4 Series Fire TVs are more basic entry-level models that would appeal to those who care about budget most, while Amazon's Omni LED and QLED Series as well as some Hisense ULED and Mini LED Fire TVs have more advanced backlighting and less lag while still being affordable compared to QLED and OLED models from Samsung, Sony, and LG.
