A budget-friendly, low-profile soundbar, the Sonos Ray "delivers on the bottom line requirement of any speaker: true, quality sound," according to Mashable reviewer Stan Schneider. While it may not have a ton of extra features (no Bluetooth connectivity, HDMI hookup, or smart home compatibility), the price tag makes up for it. Typically $279, it's on sale for just $179 at Amazon as of Aug. 23 — that's a new record-low for our favorite starter soundbar.

The Echo Pop is the least expensive way to add Alexa to your home. It also adds a fun pop of color. Mashable's reviewer noted its not anything particularly groundbreaking, but it is a budget-friendly speaker that sounds great in any room in your home. And for just $22.99, you can pick up the speaker and a free Sengled smart bulb as of Aug. 23 — that's 61% in savings.

Released last year, the Sonos Era 100 is a direct replacement for the now obsolete Sonos One.
