The show is developed by Frank Spotnitz and based on the bestselling 1962 Philip K. Dick novel.
Set in 1962, the dystopian series takes place in an alternate history in which the Axis powers won WWII. It stars Alexa Davalos, Luke Kleintank, Rufus Sewell, Rupert Evans, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Joel de la Fuente and DJ Qualls.
At the show's Television Critics Association panel in August, creators also said the titular character -- who remained a mystery in Season 1 -- will finally appear in Season 2 and will have a big presence.
The series returns Dec. 16.
