Adult film star Amber Rayne dies in L.A. home
Amber Rayne, an adult film star who performed in hundreds of movies, has died after collapsing in her Los Angeles home on Saturday. She was 31 years old.
A friend was present when Rayne (real name Meghan Wren) collapsed, according to the LA Times. She was reportedly pronounced dead at 3:15 p.m. Ed Winter, the assistant chief of the Los Angeles County coroner's office tells LA Weekly she reportedly died of a "possible accident or overdose," though an autopsy with a full toxicology report is still pending.
Rayne started her adult film career in 2005 and officially retired in 2015.

The actress recently made headlines after speaking out about her alleged assault by adult film star James Deen. In a graphic interview, she said that he punched her in the face and was violent with her while shooting a film.
"There was so much blood I couldn’t finish the scene," she said.
Rayne is mourned by the adult film community. Stoya, an artist and ex-girlfriend of Deen's who kicked off an outpouring of sexual allegations against him, is among those who tweeted about Rayne's death.
