LONDON -- However you feel about the outcome of the U.S. presidential election, it's safe to say that it's been a dramatic 24 hours.

You're tired, you're hungry and you're in need of sustenance.

Well, if you're an American in London today you can eat your feelings for free.

Leave your wallets at home, Americans, because London's got you.

Take your U.S. passports into branches of The Diner throughout London and you'll get a free cheeseburger.

The participating venues are located in Camden, Covent Garden, Islington, Soho, Shoreditch, Gloucester Road, Spitalfields, Dalston and The Strand. Let's hope the rest of the world catches on to this ingenious idea. The whole world needs cheeseburgers.
