This daredevil duo might require a little more practice before going on live TV.

On last night's America's Got Talent, stunt couple AmberLynn and Ryan Stock entered the quarterfinals by combining two classic sideshow attractions into one almost terrible mistake.

They chose to impress Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Melanie Brown and Howie Mandel by crossing sword swallowing with a little William Tell action.

After swallowing a few swords, Stock shoved a long rod down his gullet, which had a target on the base. His partner AmberLynn took aim with a crossbow loaded with an arrow on fire. And she missed. On live TV.

The sensitive people at NBC cut the above video right as the accident happens, but eagle-eyed live viewers were ready with their phones to show us the aftermath of what happened.

The judges were just as taken aback and relieved that Stock seemed to be OK.
