LONDON -- 2016 hasn't been bad for everyone.

Exhibit A: Andy Murray.

Beating 5-time champion Novak Djokovic to win his first ATP World Tour Finals title.

The Scotsman just finished off the year as the world's number one tennis player.

And Twitter is celebrating his success, because sometimes, it's nice to know that the nice guy doesn't always finish last.

As it happens, Murray has some pretty high-profile supporters:

Of course, literary queens, fellow sports stars and knighted actors aside, Momma Murray will always be his biggest fan:

A win for Britain, a win for the nice guy, and, at long last, a win for 2016. Congrats, Andy!
