Chris Pratt and Anna Faris' separation didn't stop him from penning a hilarious foreword in her book
It's one thing dealing with a breakup in the public eye, but having to write about your former partner in a very public way can be even more painful.
Chris Pratt managed to avoid this fate. According to excerpts of the foreword in Slate, Pratt's penned foreword for Anna Faris' new book (which is dedicated to Pratt) is just as interesting as you'd expect from a foreword written for his ex.
"When I was asked to write the forward [sic] for Unqualified, Anna’s memoir, I immediately said yes without even thinking about it. And boy did a lot happen between then and now. So much. Like … soooo much," Pratt writes, referencing their separation.
The actor goes on a bit of an adorable tangent when he realize that "foreword" was spelled with an 'e' and an 'o,' but quickly bounces back with praises for Faris' reading and communication habits.
"She reads the big five: The New York Times, LA Times, The Seattle Times, The New Yorker, and The Economist. Whereas I read “The Big 5” sporting goods ads, looking for good deals on guns and Rollerblades," he continues.
But the best part? His revelation about her farts.
"And in all the years we were together, I don’t think I smelled her farts once," Pratt said. "They’re probably not too bad."
Faris' book Unqualified—which tackles her life before and after Hollywood, and the invasive cheating rumors between the two—is now available on shelves.
