Because you'd be forgiven for feeling distracted this Valentine's Day.

Yes, it's technically Valentine's Day, but considering events of the last 24 hours -- not to mention the past four weeks -- you'd be forgiven for feeling distracted.

Instead of compartmentalizing your romantic and political anxieties, mash them together into a Valentine's Day poem and hope we're all still here this time next year.
