Students around the country are enjoying spring break this month — but not Apple.

The tech giant is holding a mysterious event in Chicago that has something to do with education.

The event, which Apple has branded as a "field trip," will take place at Lane Tech College Prep High School in Chicago on March 27.

"Join us to hear creative new ideas for teachers and students," the invite reads.

We'll be honest -- we have no idea what to expect at this event. But Apple's recent history may give us some clues.

Apple launched an in-store education program last year to offer free courses in disciplines like iPhone photography and Swift coding. And the company's "Everyone Can Code" initiative is bringing Swift education to students in an increasing number of cities from Melbourne to Chicago.

So at least one thing's for sure: Apple really, really, really wants kids learning Swift and coding apps for iOS, and we wouldn't be surprised if that's at least a part of this event.
