Last-minute shopping for Christmas gifts? Apple now offers free next-day delivery
Ordering presents online this close to the holidays always comes with a dose of anxiety: Will you have an actual box under the tree, or a clumsy note saying the presents should arrive in 10-12 days?
If you're shopping for Apple products, you needn't worry, as the company on Monday activated free next day delivery for most products in its lineup.
The note, visible on Apple's online store for multiple countries, promises free next day delivery for "in-stock items ordered by 2:00 p.m. on 12/23."
It doesn't work for all products, though. For example, Apple's recently launched wireless earbuds, the AirPods, ship in six weeks.
If you don't mind walking to an Apple retail store, you can also buy an item online and pick it up yourself in an hour.
And if you're unsure what to buy, you can check out Apple's last-minute gift guide, which highlights items such as the iPhone 7, Apple Watch, Beats headphones and a whole lot of accessories.
