Apple's iPhone Pocket sock is fully sold out
Admit it, you laughed at the sock. Well, we certainly did. But Apple seems to be having the last laugh once again.
The iPhone Pocket was one of those Apple gadgets that invites jokes: A sock-like bag for the iPhone with an Issey Miyake brand tag on it, and a hefty price tag. Who's gonna buy this thing?
Apparently, a lot of people. Even though the iPhone Pocket started at $149.95 ($229.95 if you wanted a longer strap), it's currently completely, fully, totally sold out.

It didn't take long for the Pocket to sell out at Apple's online store in the U.S. But as MacRumors noted on Tuesday, the Pocket is now sold out in every country it's been offered in: The United States, France, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. We haven't checked retail stores, though; you might find one there if you look hard enough.
We're not sure if Apple plans to make more of the iPhone Pocket, but it appears that it should. The people, they yearn for the sock.
