The screen on at least one version of Apple's upcoming iPhone will be curved in some way -- if you believe a new report that claims Apple has ordered 70 million OLED screens from Samsung.

Nikkei Asian Review, who published the report Tuesday citing sources close to Apple's supply chain, has no other details about the order, but says the screens will be used in a phone.

Apple is rumored to be launching three new iPhones this fall: Two with a regular, LCD screen, and a "premium" variant that will have a curved OLED screen. Judging by the size of this order, Apple expects this version -- which is also rumored to be pricier than usual -- to sell well.

The report confirms a similar report from February that said Samsung Display will manufacture a total of 160 million OLED panels for Apple. Previous rumors claimed Apple will order some of the OLED panels for the new phone from LG Display, but Samsung Display is the obvious choice with its towering, 99 percent market share in the mobile OLED space.

Nikkei has a few other industry source-based rumors about the upcoming iPhones, though they're nothing we haven't heard before. According to the outlet, all three new iPhones will come with wireless charging, and all three will be waterproof. Furthermore, at least one model will have a 3D sensors with built-in facial recognition.

As for the sizes of the new phones, Nikkei claims the two LCD-screened iPhones will be 4.7- and 5.5-inches big (just like the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus), while the premium variant will have a 5.2-inch OLED screen.
