In 2006, Apple partnered with (RED) to launch a line of red-colored products, whose purchase triggers a donation to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. (RED) is a company that teams up with popular brands to raise awareness about AIDS and raise donations to the Global Fund which are invested in HIV/AIDS programs in sub-Saharan Africa.

Now, coinciding with World AIDS Day, Apple is celebrating 15 years of that partnership. According to the tech giant, its (RED) program has helped raise nearly $270 million for the cause, provided over 192 million HIV tests, and provided over 13.8 million people with access to antiretroviral treatments.

In a press release Wednesday, Apple highlighted its PRODUCT(RED) devices and accessories currently on offer, including the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, and Apple Watch Series 7.

Finally, Apple launched six new Apple Watch faces in red, which are available for download at apple.com/product-red. The new faces are designed for Apple's new Apple Watch Series 7; I only had a Series 6 Watch at hand, but I was able to add them to my watch as well. The new faces do requires iOS 14.5 or later, as well as watchOS 7.4 or later.
