Apple's App Store now has over 2 million apps

There's an app for everything.

Apple announced that the App Store now has more than 2 million apps available to download.

The stats were highlighted at the company's WWDC on Monday.

Since the App Store launched 8 years ago, people have tallied up more than 130 billion individual app downloads. That's a lot of apps.

The 2 million-app achievement matches the most recent estimated number of apps for Android on Google's Play Store, according to Statista. How many times these apps have been downloaded was not immediately available.
