Apps (looking at you, Tinder) have made dating a living hell, so the least they could do is make our relationships a little easier.

Seriously, though — whether you're looking to find new date ideas, turn up the heat or just keep your calendars organized, your phones are here to help.

Here are 12 apps that every couple should use. Or at least briefly try before you give up and go for a walk instead.

1. Rabbit

If you're in a long-distance relationship but still want to watch Stranger Things together, Rabbit, which is basically Hangouts but cooler, will sync up your browsers and do the trick.

We're big fans of the shared calendar feature on this couples messaging app.

4. Avocado

Sick of communicating via iMessage, Facebook and all that other stuff? Avocado lets you communicate exclusively with your partner using text, photos, drawings and more. You can even send "hugs" or "kisses," which are kind of like cutesy Facebook pokes.

This one helps you keep track of outstanding debts to each other — especially if you're roommates. Gotta keep the finances fair, after all.

6. Our Groceries
