This bag has a very important message about Islamophobia

A tote bag with Arabic writing has popped up in a Berlin metro and it promises to fight Islamophobic stereotypes with cleverness and style.

The writer on the outside reads: "This text has no other purpose than to terrify those who are afraid of the Arabic language" according to Berlin-based journalist Nader Al-Sarras, who first shared the picture.

The bag is produced by Rock Paper Scissors, a graphic design and print studio run by Sana Jammalieh, 29, and Haitham Charles Haddad, 27 in Haifa, Israel.

They were " data-ga-click="1" data-ga-label="$text" data-ga-item="text-link" data-ga-module="content_body">recently in the German capital to showcase their creations.

The Palestinian duo told SBS that many of their products are in Arabic because: "It is our language and part of who we are and we think it should be part of our urban landscape."
