ABC announces a new 'Bachelor' and fans have never been so confused
Usually, when ABC chooses its next Bachelor, the highest odds are for a fan favorite from the previous Bachelorette season. All signs this year pointed to Peter Kraus, but the network threw a major curveball in the form of Arie Luyendyk Jr.
Luyendyk was on The Bachelorette in 2012 -- you know, when Mitt Romney ran for president and there was just one Avengers movie and the Red Wedding had only happened in books. The former Indy 500 driver has been working in real estate, and now he has a second chance with Bachelor nation -- a fan base that isn't exactly chuffed about his casting.
