Last week, a photo from the set of Game of Thrones went viral when actress Maisie Williams and Isaac Hempstead Wright were spotted next to each other in the set's makeup chairs.

The internet went wild speculating ways that the actor's characters, Arya and Bran Stark, could reunite in the show's upcoming seventh season.

The union of these two characters' storylines could not only be amazing for fans hoping to see a full Stark reunion, but also perhaps necessary to the characters' survival.

With Hodor gone and Bran completely relying on Meera for transportation and defense, the two could desperately use Arya's assassin and survival skills.

But how could the two characters meet?

We have compiled a list of the four most viable fan theories here:

1. They run into each other on their way to Winterfell:

At the end of Season 6, Bran traveled back in time for his second visit to the Tower of Joy. Unlike his first trip, the Three-Eyed Raven wasn't there to keep him outside, and Bran entered the tower. Inside, it is revealed that Jon Snow isn't Ned's bastard, nor Bran's half-brother at all, but the son of the Stark children's deceased aunt, Lyanna, and perhaps Rhaegar Targaryen.

International Business Times theorizes that ith Jon now ruling the North, Bran may be trying to make it to Winterfell to warn him of his powerful dragon blood before the real battle for the Iron Throne begins. Amidst his travels, it is possible he encounters Arya, who has also been trying to return to Winterfell.

2. They meet at Winterfell:

During the Season 6 finale, Arya masterfully used her Braavos instruction to execute Walder Frey and avenge the murders of her mother and brother, Cat and Robb Stark. While she did not want to dedicate her life to the Many Faced God, it is clear that she is using her training. It is possible Arya will make use of her face-swapping abilities to get back to Winterfell, where she will find Sansa, Jon and, perhaps, Bran.

3. They unite for a war against the White Walkers:

Beyond finding that Jon could be the rightful heir to the Iron Throne, Brain has also gained vital intel about the White Walkers on their way to attack the Seven Kingdoms.

In Season 6, Bran accidentally allowed the Night King to touch him during a vision, giving the White Walkers a gateway into the cave of the Three-Eyed Raven. After seeing their abilities first-hand, Bran could potentially be traveling to Jon in an effort to prepare Winterfell's fighters.

If Arya makes it to Winterfell after Bran, International Business Times believes the Stark siblings could be uniting for a battle against the Walkers. Perhaps she is taking her assassin skills to the battleground with her siblings, potentially explaining Arya's warrior-esque outfit in the set photo.

4. They will run into each other outside of the wall:

Because Bran still has the Night King's mark, many Thrones fans theorize that if Bran travels beyond the Wall, the spell keeping the White Walkers from passing through will theoretically break - thus allowing the army to travel beyond.

Our theory is: with this knowledge, Bran may choose to stay on the outside of the wall where his Uncle Benjen left him.

Arya was last seen in the Riverlands presumably headed toward Winterfell. If Bran chooses to stay outside the wall, it is conceivable that the two siblings' paths could cross amidst Arya's travels.

Reunion or not, we're all excited to see what Season 7 has in store for the Starks.
