Warning: Game of Thrones spoilers. Obviously.

Arya Stark has had a few stale seasons on Game of Thrones. Despite being a fan favorite, the badass, needle-wielding character found herself stuck in endless Braavosi Fight Club-esque training montages against the Waif.

Simply put: A girl had no plot.

And just when Arya's storyline began to thicken during Season 6's "Blood of my Blood," she went and carelessly got herself stabbed in the following episode, "The Broken Man."

But a GoT fan has provided a theory that gives a Arya's story a new, mind-boggling layer.

Reddit user catNamedStupidity claims Arya and the Waif are one-in-the same. The Waif, the Redditor suggests, is simply a figment of Arya's imagination (caused by the House of Black and White's magic) which is working to kill the humanity holding Arya back from fully becoming a Faceless Man.

The Redditor defends his/her theory saying it would explain why the Waif always knows what Arya is doing, where she is and when she is lying -- she is essentially Arya's subconscious.

The theory is more plausible when considering that Jaqen H'ghar only ever speaks to one or the other girl, often asking the Waif to leave the room before he addresses Arya.

Read the full, eye-opening theory, which also gives more context to the Waif's recent stabbing attack on Arya:

Another Reddit user, __JeRM, built upon the theory in the comments, predicting a future, seemingly awesome scene.

While the theory and comment were posted six days ago (before either could see the most recent episode), it still fits into the events of episode 7, since fans have yet to see the Waif share news of Arya's injuries (not death) with Jaqen H'ghar.

And let's not forget: Arya and the Waif have similar haircuts. Case closed.
