Ubisoft's already made an Avatar game, back in 2009. But now Massive Entertainment, the development studio behind The Division, is tackling one of their own.

We don't know much about the game, save for some flowery language about its pretty world and themes that you can hear in the video Ubisoft released this morning from the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. The developers are working on the game with Fox and James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment, and it will be set in the world of Pandora.

Ubisoft's 2009 Avatar: The Game -- a prequel -- was set two years before the events of the actual movie, and let you choose between playing as a human RDA solider or one of the Na'vi. In the video above, associate creative director Ditte Deenfeldt mentions that players will be able to experience the universe of Pandora to their choosing, which could suggest a similar avatar/human choice or perhaps narrative decisions that could impact the story -- another popular video game trend. All we have right now are guesses.

The 2009 game, which was also a collaboration between Ubisoft and the movie makers, had a voice actor lineup featuring a few returning celebrities from the film, including Sigourney Weaver. It wouldn't be a surprise to find out this next visit to Pandora could bring out a few celebrities of its own, too.

The game will release on PC as well as consoles, and is being developed with the same engine the team used to create The Division -- the Snowdrop engine.
