The internet doesn't think 'Avengers: Infinity War' is the most ambitious crossover event
The hype around Avengers: Infinity War is huge, with some calling it the most ambitious crossover event in history.
But people on Twitter are calling BS on that, showing that just because Infinity War gathers an unreasonable amount of superheroes into one movie doesn't mean it's the most ambitious or most important crossover of all time. Across decades of television, straight-to-video movies, and other forms of entertainment, there have been countless meaningful crossovers, some of which are arguably more ambitious than Marvel's latest. (Lol.)
What follows are some of the best crossovers in history (according to random people on the internet).
In 2006, there was the That's So Raven X Suite Life of Zack & Cody X Hannah Montana cross-over, which combined three of the mid-2000s' most popular Disney TV shows into one mind-bending made-for-TV movie.

There are also several Archie comics that crossover with popular franchises, the most shocking of which was probably Archie Vs. Predator.
