New avocado restaurant in Amsterdam makes your basic dreams come true
Dying to shed that "basic" label but can't give up your avocado toast obsession? The latest restaurant news from Amsterdam may be able to wean you from your basic brunch.
The Avocado Show, an eatery dedicated to the alligator pear (as it's sometimes called), is set to open in Amsterdam in 2017, reports Metro.
The restaurant, which calls itself Europe's first avocado bar, will serve meals from breakfast through late night treats. The menu will purportedly include items ranging from avocado sandwiches to avocado bun burgers and avocado chocolate smoothies.
Restaurant proprietors Julien Zaal, Ron Simpson and Jaimie van Heije told Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, "Our only rule is that the dishes need to contain the green super fruit in one way or another."
If you were deciding where to to go on your summer vacation and avocado is up your alley, this might just be the ticket (though there is no word on if the restaurant will be open by then).
Of course, if you travel wearing super expensive leggings, you're still basic AF.
