Of course Starbucks figured out a way to ruin avocado toast

The trend has finally reached Starbucks locations nationwide.

Basics, rejoice.

Starbucks has--years into the game--finally jumped onboard the avocado toast wagon, and is offering packages of organic avocado spread for all your snacking needs.

Made with "fresh, organic Hass avocados, sea salt, onion, garlic, jalapeño pepper, and lime juice," the spread sounds a lot like guacamole.

The coffee giant has actually been slowly rolling out the product since late last year, but it's now available in all U.S. locations.

Some consumers were concerned about how green the spread was, worrying that it wasn't made with real avocados, but fear not. One Twitter user put it to the test:

Behold, the only time avocado going bad was a good thing:

The best part about this is that it costs around $1--way cheaper than your favorite brunch spot.

Basic-at-hearts agree: nothing pairs with a frappuccino like an affordable avocado spread.
