Hedgehog camping is the only camping I care about

Among Instagram's many traveling photographers, it's become a bit cliché to post one's beautiful dog standing tall on a rocky mountain slope before a massive luxury camping tent.

Forgive me, talented travel shooters, but those photos are extremely boring.

Here's what I'd rather see: These photos of our friend Azuki the hedgehog perched in a miniature camping chair, donning a protective sun cap and contemplating an afternoon kayak excursion.

First spotted by Bored Panda, the Instagram-famous hedgehog – who hails from Japan and boasts more than 171,000 followers – recently took a very charming camping trip, much to the delight of his fans.

Coleman Japan helped outfit Azuki's trip, providing him with a miniature tent, a wagon, a camping chair, a grill, and a kayak. The resulting photos have since inspired a Reddit Photoshop battle, which is how we ended up with this precious gem of a gif:
