A baby eagle is about to hatch, and you can watch a live stream of the entire thing.

Located at the U.S. National Arboretum, the first eaglet is expected to break free as early as Thursday, though the process could take two days.

The second eaglet is expected to follow its sibling sometime this weekend.

Officials at the American Eagle Foundation said they first noticed a crack in one of the eggs on Wednesday evening.

The process of an eaglet breaking out of its shell is called "pipping." It starts when the eaglet begins to chip away at the egg's membrane and shell from the inside.

The foundation said the public will get to name the two eaglets, but they'll initially be called DC2 and DC3, according to The Washington Post

For now, you can watch the first eaglet come into the world via eagles.org or dceaglecam.org.
