Baby Yoda has inspired some freaking adorable memes

Warning: This post contains spoilers for The Mandalorian. If wish to remain unspoiled you do, only pain will you find.

The Mandalorian, Disney's live-action Star Wars TV series, is in full gear on the new streaming platform Disney+. And thanks to a brand new, 50-year-old baby alien resembling a key Star Wars character, the show can only get cuter from here. We know next to nothing about this mysterious green alien baby, but we'll be darned if it doesn't look exactly like a mini version of Yoda, one of the most beloved characters in all of Star Wars.

OK, we know he's probably not actually Baby Yoda.

As any veteran Star Wars fan will point out, Yoda died in Return of the Jedi, which is set before The Mandalorian. But with no other identifying information, and the only other known member of this mysterious Yoda species, the internet has decided: His name is Baby Yoda. And if you hurt him, well... let's just say we know a Sarlacc pit with your name on it.

Other than hiding from the world, napping a lot, growing little white hairs on his head, and being the cutest thing that has ever existed, Baby Yoda has been busy giving people plenty of feelings on the internet, as well as spawning some Jedi-caliber memes for the galaxy to enjoy.

We're just going to leave these here so we can all remember Baby Yoda's meteoric rise to fame.

If memes and a limited TV series aren't enough, you can also get your Baby Yoda fix by going to his own personal Twitter account, which is a thing that exists.

There are only six episodes left in The Mandalorian's debut season on Disney+. We have a feeling, call it a tremor in the Force, that Baby Yoda will be there for much of the ride.
