Teens have officially gone off the deep end with the #BackpackChallenge

It's happened: teens have finally lost their damn minds.

The mannequin challenge and Andy's coming are dead, and a new, much more violent challenge is making its way through American high schools: the #BackpackChallenge.

Here's how the #BackpackChallenge works: one very brave person runs between two rows of lined-up participants, who throw their backpacks full-force at the runner.

As you might guess, this doesn't turn out well for the runner, who typically topples over after two or three blows. Backpacks are heavy.
