Fun dad allows family dog to get a very unfortunate haircut

Poor doggo.

The idea behind taking your dog to a groomer's is that the dog will look better afterwards.

Sometimes, though, the dog ends up looking worse. Ruff life.

This happened to Beau's family dog on Tuesday, when his dad took the dog for an impromptu haircut. It did not go well.

"We didn't even know he was taking him to get a haircut," Beau explained. "He told the girl to have fun with it, then sent that picture in our family group chat."

Here's seven-year-old Cooper, before and after the "fun" was had.

Although dad seemed very pumped about Cooper's new do, neither the family nor Cooper were very on board.

"He looked kinda depressed when I saw him," Beau said of Cooper. "Like he was ashamed."

We really can't blame Cooper for feeling a bit sad. Just look at the poor chap.

"My sister Sophie hated it so much that she took my dad's clippers and cut it off," Beau said of his family's reaction to Cooper's new look.

As you can see, Cooper looks much more presentable now. Still, we feel bad for the poor doggo.

Hair grows back, Coop. But until then, you may want to put a hat on when you go to the dog park.
