Regardless of where you're from, you've got to love a child who understands the value of carbs.

One little French boy demonstrated his national pride by waving around a beautiful golden baguette at Friday's World Cup quarterfinal between France and Uruguay. France won the game, and Baguette Boy quickly became an internet sensation

If there's one stereotype I learned from middle-school French, it's that French people love baguettes -- -with or without butter. Only Twitter understands how radical that is.

In America, this child would probably be hurling a Slim Jim. Shame on us.
