Balenciaga is trying to make car mat skirts happen for more than $2,000
Have you ever been in a car and thought to yourself, "damn, I'd really love to wear this car mat as a skirt?" No? Didn't think so.
The folks at Balenciaga beg to differ, it seems. They're selling a "car design skirt" that looks like it's come straight out of the footwell of your automobile. Fetch!
Oh, and it happens to cost £1,795 ($2,365). Bargain!
A few frugal individuals have pointed out that fashionistas wanting to get on board with this look can do so for a fraction of the price. Like, just buy some car mats and wear them? Easy.

A few people rightly noted that there's something missing from Balenciaga's ensemble.
