Banksy artwork pops up at Bristol primary school
Primary school pupils in Bristol have come back from their half-term holidays to discover that famous street artist Banksy has painted an artwork on the side of their school.
The notoriously secretive artist and activist spray painted and signed the graffiti to thank Bridge Farm primary school in Bristol for naming a house after him.

The head teacher at the school confirmed to the Bristol Post that he received a letter from the artist himself confirming it's his work.

"I think it went up over the weekend, and completed last night, but we're not entirely sure," Geoff Mason said.
"It was done after we ran a competition to change the house names, and we decided to name them after Bristol legends. We had to include Banksy."

The letter read: "Dear Bridge Farm School, thanks for your letter and naming a house after me."
"Please have a picture, and if you don't like it, feel free to add stuff. I'm sure the teachers won't mind. Remember, it's always easier to get forgiveness than permission."
"Much love, Banksy."
The head teacher said the artwork "will inspire the children."
