You hate to see it, but summer is winding down – even Barack and Michelle Obama know it since they shared their summer playlist on Saturday.

As the former President himself notes, it's a mix of old and new, spanning multiple genres and speaking to the multitudes of both Obama himself and – one could say – the American people. We like 2Chainz and Frank Sinatra! We can go straight from Lizzo to Steely Dan (!). The Obamas are friends with the artists behind "Shining," while the rest of us, you know, listen to it on the subway.

The playlist is pretty solid, but wouldn't suffer from the new bangers of Meghan Thee Stallion or the reborn Jonas Brothers. We suspect the Obamas haven't caught up on their summer movies yet, or Yesterday and Blinded by the Light would have them bumping to oldies by The Beatles and Springsteen.

Regardless, the 44th President's playlist is meticulously crafted – as evidenced by this:

One question remains: What is the Obamas' favorite track on Lover??
