It's not even January yet, and everybody already misses Barack Obama.

BET hosted their own celebration of the president on the White House's South Lawn last month. The party, which aired on BET on Tuesday, served as, "a love letter to the president and first lady," and included such stars and musical guests as: Jill Scott, Janelle Monaé, Common, Usher, Bell Biv DeVoe, The Roots, De La Soul, Yolanda Adams, Michelle Williams, Kierra Sheard and Hamilton star Leslie Odom, Jr.

Footage of the event will make you cry, if you weren't already.

Many others stopped by to wish the president a fond farewell, including Samuel L. Jackson.

Won't you stay a little longer, President Obama? Make yourself at home.
