Newsflash, world: Barron Trump is still a kid.

Despite this fact, President Trump's youngest son, who turned 11 years old in March, recently came under fire from The Daily Caller, who deemed Barron's daily attire too casual.

In the article, titled, "It’s High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He’s In the White House," The Daily Caller wrote, "Barron was returning to the White House from New Jersey on Sunday and while the president and first lady traveled in their Sunday best, young Barron looked like he was hopping on Air Force One for a trip to the movie theater."

The particular item of clothing being attacked was a red t-shirt with the words, "ON YOUR MARK TIGER SHARK" and an image of a shark, which Reddit users later determined is sold $25 at J.Crew.

In response to the article, Chelsea Clinton, a member of a former first family herself, tweeted a call to her nearly two million followers urging the media to stop being so hard on Barron and "let him have the private childhood he deserves."

Aside from the fact that he's a kid and should be able to live a normal childhood, also keep in mind that Trumps were returning to Washington after their two-week-long working vacation in New Jersey. Even you would want to chill in a t-shirt on a flight as you get back from vacation.

Though the youngest Trump's clothing and behavior have come into question before — like that time he wore another graphic tee from J.Crew — he's certainly not the first child in the White House to receive criticism.

Barack Obama's daughters, Sasha and Malia, both dealt with their fair share of scrutiny over the years.

Clinton's tweet isn't the first time she's stood up for Barron. She also stood up for the youngest Trump back in January, when he received backlash for not looking extremely pumped during every single moment of his dad's inauguration.

Clinton has a point: How about we all just let Barron be a kid?
