Elaborate 'Beauty and the Beast' promposal is like a real life fairytale

Prom season is here, and that means guys everywhere are picking out lush fabrics, pulling out their sewing machines, and slapping together elaborate costumes to craft the perfect promposal.

High schooler Valerie arrived to find a trail of tea lights and a single rose with the note "follow the flowers."

At the end of the--honestly, very impressively long trail, that's a lot of tea lights--her date Joshua was waiting in a full prince costume THAT HE MADE HIMSELF and a shockingly accurate recreation of the rose in a glass from Beauty and the Beast. Uhhh OK! Cool, just set the bar super high for everyone else.

A friend filmed the whole thing and Joshua posted it with the caption "For my Princess!!"
