Tiny bird felt the Bern, landed on Sanders' campaign podium, everyone went crazy

Bernie Sanders nabbed a teeny, but crucial, endorsement today from a supporter during his appearance in Portland, Oregon.

While speaking to a crowd at the Moda Center, a small bird landed on his podium, prompting a chorus of cheers from the audience.

"I think that there may be some symbolism here," Sanders said after the bird flew from his podium. "I know it doesn't look like it, but that bird is really a dove asking us for world peace."



Naturally, the Bernie Sanders campaign knows an opportunity when it sees one:
