Anything goes at drag brunch - but an appearance by Bernie Sanders was certainly not expected.

California's presidential primary is this Tuesday, June 7, and on Sunday, Sanders stopped by Hamburger Mary's of West Hollywood to watch some drag queens perform and eat brunch. He also hoped to earn a few votes.

Sanders stole the drag queens' spotlight by making a speech in the crowded restaurant.

“We need a government which represents all of us - not just the one percent," Sanders said to the crowd.

Supporters of the democratic candidate who happened to be brunching at Hamburger Mary's took to social media to share their excitement.

Restaurant goers can be heard yelling "YAS," "We love you!" "How can you not love this guy!?" and "This is f*cking amazing!".

"It is too late for establishment politics," Sanders called out to the throng. "We need real change."

Bernie and his wife Jane Sanders continued through town on Sunday by hitting up other local hotspots, including LA's Historic Downtown Farmer’s Market and the Santa Monica Pier, where they rode a carousel with grandkids Ella and Dylan.

Whether or not Sanders wins over California on Tuesday, it looks like he's having a blast on the campaign trail.
