Bernie Sanders and his wife, Jane, got to see "Hamilton" Friday night — and everyone else in the audience got to see Bernie Sanders watching "Hamilton."
The presidential candidate took a break from the campaign grind to catch Lin-Manuel Miranda's already beloved musical — so beloved, in fact, that it's potentially the only thing America has been talking about as much as the election.

And no, Bernie hasn't been obsessively entering the "Hamilton" lottery (not that we have been either or anything).
He and Jane sat in house seats for the performance, which are usually reserved for public figures. According to a campaign spokesperson they paid for the tickets themselves —$167 each.
Regardless, seats like that are bound to make even hardcore Sanders supporters feel another burn ... jealousy.
