Bernie just might have spooked Trump off his podium

Trump rallies are notorious for the chaos they create (and the protesters they attack), but a recent Ohio rally may have come a little too close for comfort to Trump himself. 

In a tense moment, security rushed to protect Trump from something unseen behind him.

It's unclear if someone tried to rush the stage, or if it was something else entirely. YouTube account MisterOwlMan posted the following possibility. Take it with a grain of salt.

While Trump's duck-and-cover remains a mystery, we at least know why Sanders was acting scary. The original Spooky Bernie comes from an interview with Bloomberg, where Sanders appears to cure this reporter's hiccups during an interview:



While some may assume Sanders was simply doing his best Wall Street impression, he was in fact showing how he likes to play a game called "Monster" with his seven grandchildren.



Was Sanders the monster who frightened Trump at his rally? No, but it makes for a good GIF.
