Amazon sales are a great excuse to upgrade your tech. From Prime Day to Black Friday, these discount days see everything from robot vacuums to TVs slashed in price. But it's not just big ticket items that see major savings — for bookworms, it's a wonderful opportunity to add some inspiration to your home library. And with Amazon’s Big Spring Sale running through March 31, now is a good time to score physical and digital book deals.

While we highly recommend showing your local bookstore some love, we also won't fault you for scooping up some hardcovers for less during the sale. Plus, if you snag a Kindle for less during the Big Spring Sale, you might as well grab some discounted Kindle books to pair with it.

If you're looking for something completely fresh or there's a new bestseller you've had your eye on, these are some of the best book deals we've spotted on Amazon. Whether you're a thriller book fan or romance lover, there's a discounted book waiting for you.

Why we like it

One of Amazon's Best Books of the Year in 2025 for narrative nonfiction, The Boys in the Light follows the journeys of Company D and Eddie Willner, the author’s father, on two sides of World War II. "This sweeping, yet intimate, WWII narrative is proof that people can be good and that hope shines in dark places," writes Amazon Editor Lindsay Powers. Grab the harcover for only $20.74, the cheapest it's ever been.

Why we like it

This is a great opportunity to grab this book at a lower price now that the movie has hit theaters. Reminders of Him follows Kenna Rowan, a young mother returning home after five years in prison, desperate to reconnect with her four-year-old daughter.

Why we like it

Not Quite Dead Yet follows Jet, the daughter of one of Woodstock, Vermont's wealthiest families, after a brutal attack in which she suffers a traumatic brain injury. The doctor informs her that a deadly aneurysm is guaranteed, giving her only a week to live. In that time, she's set on doing the unthinkable: solving her own murder. Winner of 2025's Goodreads Choice Award for Readers' Favorite Mystery/Thriller, plus a Washington Post and NPR Best Book of the Year, I highly recommend snagging the hardcover copy of Not Quite Dead Yet while it's at its best price ever — just $17. I devoured this book at the end of 2025 and think it's well worth the read.
