In another win for streaming services, Prime Video’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel nabbed the 2018 Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series.

The show stars Golden Globe, Emmy, and Critics Choice winner Rachel Brosnahan as an upper-class 1950s housewife who discovers her talent for stand-up comedy in the wake of her divorce and was a critical darling in its first season.

Daniel Palladino, co-executive producer of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel alongside Amy Sherman-Palladino, accepted the award for the show as a whole.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel won several other awards at the 2018 ceremony, including the aforementioned Best Lead Actress in a Comedy for Rachel Brosnehan, Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy for Alex Borstein, and Best Directing and Best Writing for Amy Sherman-Palladino.
