Black Friday is officially here, and retailers are serving up significant discounts on MacBooks. In fact, we don't expect prices to get any lower on the core 2025 models — all of which are on sale right now.
Some retailers, including Amazon and Best Buy, have already officially kicked off their Black Friday sales, and their deals on Apple laptops reflect that. Some standouts include the M4 MacBook Air down to $749 and the very latest MacBook Pro with M5 chip getting its biggest discount yet, saving you $200.
These deals beat out what you're going to find at the Apple Store. As usual, the brand will be hosting its Black Friday gift card promo, which gives you a small sum back to use on Apple products after you've made your purchase. (Womp, womp.) In Mashable's analysis of the best MacBooks, the 13-inch M4 MacBook Air earns the top spot as the best option for students. It's lightweight and thin which makes for ultimate portability. Noting it's sale price of $749, Mashable's resident laptop expert Haley Henschel wrote, "I seriously doubt it'll get any cheaper on Black Friday proper. That's a bargain."
