According to Hootsuite, over one billion people use the photo sharing app each month. Each day, 95 million posts are made. When it launched in 2010, Instagram was place to post an artsy picture of your coffee mug. Now, it's become one of the most important social media platforms, used by entertainers, politicians, royalty, and everyone in between.
Though the app has gone through many updates over the past 10 years, good content remains the constant. From Beyoncé to Jessica Simpson's foot, there's no shortage of A+ content to devour.
Here, for your group-chat-sending consideration, are the best Instagram posts of 2019 so far, in no particular order.
1. The Egg
Looking back on the World Record Egg, it feels like some sort of weird fever dream. But alas, it actually happened. Posted only four days into this year, it became the most liked Instagram photo of all time. Currently, it holds over 53 million likes. Kudos, egg.
2. Jessica Simpson's foot
What do you do when your foot is swollen? Post a picture of it on Instagram, of course! Jessica Simpson's plea for "any remedies" regarding her swollen feet garnered no less than 38,000 comments. Later, she posted more feet pictures to let us know that the swelling had gone down and she could see her ankles again. Thanks for the updates, Jess!
3. John Legend as "Johnny" the baby
Chrissy Teigen makes sure to always show us all of her babies cutest moments. Her hubby, John Legend, took it upon himself to dress up as Miles, his son that bears a striking resemblance to him. Here, he's pictured at a healthy 482 months old.
4. The cutest Kardashian babies
Now that the Kardashian sisters are bringing up the next Jenneration (sorry), there's a lot of baby pictures. This one is of Kim's daughter Chicago, Khloe's daughter True, and Kylie's daughter Stormi. Please, try to Keep Up.

Ah yes, the photo that spurred months of eEster egg hunting by the Swifties, the singer's very devoted fanbase. 6. Lizzo at the airport
The pop diva wore her feathery Met Gala outfit to the airport the day after the star-studded event. She topped the look off with a stuffed monkey and sunglasses. She's, forgive me, too fly.
7. Justin Bieber's wife Hailey and his toe
Justin Bieber has 'grammed pics his model wife, Hailey, a lot. However, this picture includes his toes, too. He aptly wrote, "That's my toe," lest anyone were to confuse it with any of his other appendages.
8. Oprah with her dogs on Easter
Everyone's favorite dog-loving billionaire celebrated Easter by putting cute little hats on her dogs. Or, attempted to, anyway.
9. Benny Drama's Kim Kardashian law school parody
Instagram's resident Kimpersonator hilariously spoofed Elle Woods and Kim Kardashian in one video. Kim herself has probably seen the clip, as her sister Khloe posted it on her Story.
10. Cardi B sleeping on private jet with baby
The outspoken rapper cuddled with her daughter, Kulture, in a makeshift bed, high in the sky. "Theres nothing more valuable than family time," she wrote in the caption, most likely with in-air WiFi.
11. Brie Larson serving popcorn
The actress helped serve popcorn to fellow theatre goers during the opening weekend of her film, Captain Marvel. For the big release, Larson traded her super hero suit for a custom Juicy Couture track suit, naturally. "I feel like everyone should have one," she gushed in the caption.
12. Harry and Megan with their baby, Archie
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex finally made their way onto Instagram, just in time to welcome their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
13. Beyoncé in a pile of shoes
Queen Bey posed Barbie-like over a floor full of sneakers? That's no small feet. I mean feat.
14. Shawn Mendes' Calvin Klein ad
No "Best of Instagram" list is complete without a shirtless Shawn Mendes. The staggering 242,000 commenters would probably agree with me there.
15. Kylie and Stormi
Stormi's mom, billionaire makeup mogul Kylie Jenner, is sure to take good care of her. Jenner even captioned the sweet pic, "mama's gotchu forever baby ♥️"
16. Adele's meme
While we're almost certain that Adele didn't make this meme about herself, it's pretty rad that she found it funny enough to post. She can write and sing tear-jerking songs and laugh at herself? We don't deserve her.
17. Rihanna in a leopard print suit
Since she's too busy running a fashion house, a makeup line, and a lingerie line, it's no wonder Rihanna hasn't blessed us with new music recently. However, she still slays on the 'gram every once in a while. And for that, we'll always throw her a double-tap.
18. Chris Hemsworth with a quokka
The middle Hemsworth brother gave followers a mild bout of cuteness overload when he uploaded a selfie with a quokka, an ever-smiling marsupial native to Australia.
If the first half of the year blessed us with Lizzo's airport romp and Adele's sense of humor, I think there's hope for the second half of 2019, too. Plus, Justin Bieber's toe has to be a good omen, right?
