During one of Taylor Swift's famous Fourth of July parties in 2016, Swift shared a photograph — that has since been deleted — of all her pals on Instagram. Reynolds was there sporting a forlorn expression on his face, spawning the beautiful "sad face" meme.

Reynolds later explained in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that he was not in fact sad when the photo was taken — that's just his face.
“No that’s a problem I’ve had all my life,” the actor told Entertainment Weekly, when asked if he was upset. “If I’m not aware a photo is being taken, my natural resting face is one of a man dying. I had no idea somebody was taking a photo. Therefore I was resting comfortably in my persona of a man whose soul is visibly exiting this earth.”
2. When Reynolds was Photoshopped into someone's prom photos
Following a post-prom break up, Twitter user gabidunn99 choose to Photoshop Reynolds into her prom photo, which gained a ton of traction online. Soon after the edited photos were shared, brirenaexo replied to the tweet with her own Photoshopped pics from the year before, featuring her and Channing Tatum at her prom.

Reynolds later responded to the tweet and suggested they Photoshop him into her ex's yearbook photo next.

3. "But, why?"
Reynold played a nurse in the cult stoner classic Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle. While the role may have been small, it has become a favorite reaction GIF online.

5. Reynolds' feud with Paddington Bear
I don't know how you get into a fight with the world's purest being, Paddington Bear, but Reynolds managed to do so. After making a joke about Deadpool being nominated for a People's Choice award, things became heated between the actor and Britain's favorite bear.
"So honored by all the @PeoplesChoice noms. Hope you vote for Deadpool 2 and feel free to write us in for best Family Film," Reynolds tweeted. "Because watch your fucking back, Paddington."
Paddington of course responded in the most Paddington way possible, a simple "#hardstare."
But the internet, unhappy with Reynolds' jab at the beloved bear, began threatening and sending warnings to the Deadpool actor, in a hilarious, yet very fair way.

While, the feud may have blown over, it's still probably best if Reynolds steers clear of Paddington, and continues to respect his loving, glowing light, that is pure joy and goodness.
